Media temple beta testing Django grid hosting

Media Temple is currently accepting beta testers for their new Django Grid Hosting.

From ther website:

(mt) Media Temple's new Django GridContainer system, another industry first, will soon allow (gs) Grid-Service customers to have their own dedicated Django server. It will be an unshared copy of Django, utilizing lighttpd and persistent FastCGI, with their own dedicated RAM and CPU resources. This will allow for a stable, but high performing, application environment. The technology is based on the same proven approach that is successfully powering the MySQL and RoR GridContainer systems. It eliminates the ambiguous and disruptive nature of a shared model and allows customers the confidence that any performance limitations derive only from the RAM and CPU limitations of the Django GridContainer itself, not from competing customers.
